The owners should just put it out of its misery and pull the plug.

I know you’re a wind up poster, but people come out with this all the time and I never get the logic, if you don’t like the site anymore just leave, you won’t be missed.

That's because this site is no longer a football forum, its political, which drives people away, that and the constant bickering on various threads by the same posters is a big turn off.
Still has its amusing moments though

I like WHO, it's informative, sometimes funny, plenty of 'bantz', you know, exactly what an internet forum is for.
If you don't like it then don't log on and if you can't help yourself, then once you've logged on then steer clear of the threads that don't interest you. Other than that, just wipe your little knob over the screen....

The solution is simple: start an interesting thread yourself, rather than sit there waiting for somebody else to serve you one up.

Kids have the attention span of a gnat but to be on here you have got to be drunk and remember stuff from months if not years ago and argue for months on end.

This has gotten said a lot over the years.
It's not as lively as it was. I think it's a shrinking/ageing population.
There are a few other issues likely affecting it as well.
As mentioned the proliferation of political threads and the aggression/arguments on them spilling out onto loads of other threads and taking those over is a big turn off for a lot of people. And it's just never ending.
That aggression has spilled over into how people generally talk to each other. The banter used to be much more good natured and almost affectionate but now the simplest of things like offering a different opinion on something is met with a bizarre amount of proper anger and aggression from some posters. Again I wouldn't be surprised if people are turned off from posting by that. What's the point in posting a perfectly fair and measured bit about a certain player or formation if you're just going to be called a fucking clueless cunt or similar, written with actual bile rather than any sense of humour or tongue in cheek. The art of debate on here which used to be great has been a bit lost.
I know the site takes pride in being very loosely moderated and I know the mods don;t want to be spending hours on it, but a tiny bit more probably wouldn't go amiss. Given some of the things I've read in the last couple of years, you REALLY have to go some to get a ban now.
